College Exams

Scheduled Testing:

When will my student have to take college entrance exams?  

-Sophomores will take the PreACT in November of 2024.
-Juniors will take the PSAT in October of 2024.
-Juniors will take the ACT in March 2025.
-AP testing will begin the first full week of May and will run into the second full week of May.

******Students will automatically be signed up for these tests by the school.

-Students seeking to take the SAT must register on their own.

The Pre-ACT is just that, practice for the ACT. These scores can also be used as a way to qualify for the Career-College Promise Program, taking courses at VGCC during junior and/or senior year. The PSAT/NMSQT scores are sent to colleges and are tied to student scholarship opportunities.
