At Falls Lake Academy, we focus on providing students with the best education possible. No matter where they want to excel, we work every day to make sure all of our students have the tools and resources they need to prepare for tomorrow’s workforce.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the generous support from our community. This year we would like to improve student technology at FLA. Specifically, more I-pads for elementary students, better laptop carts for middle school, and funding for graduate level online research for high school. Our goal is to raise $25,000 this fall to invest in our student’s future. We will be putting the FUN into fundraising by hosting a spirit week for students and staff during the week of September 25th through the 29th. During this time, students may purchase “hat tokens” and “pajama day” tokens; we will be having a “penny war” between elementary, middle and high school; and students may purchase tickets to win a chance to “pie a teacher”. The week will end with a pep rally celebrating our school spirit … and finding out which teacher will get pied in front of students!
But that’s not all!
Instead of asking parents to sell donuts, candy bars, and deliver pizzas, we are simply asking for a gift to the school. For each family who donates $50 or more per student or $100 or more per family, that child(ren) will be entered to win one of four $50 Visa gift cards*. In addition, your PAA teacher’s name(s) will be entered into a separate drawing for a $50 Visa gift card. To break it down, if a family with 2 students donates $200, each student and each teacher will have two entries into each drawing.
Winner’s names will be drawn during the Friday pep rally … but after the teacher gets pied in the face, of course!
Donation forms will be sent home with students Monday, September 25th and the deadline for donating is 9:00am Friday morning, September 29th. We would greatly appreciate any amount you can contribute and all contributions will be confidential. All of us at Falls Lake Academy thank you for your continued support!
* Falls Lake Academy is a registered non-profit, so your donations could be tax-deductible. Please contact your tax advisor for more information.

Parents must sign a “walker waiver” for their student.
Waiver and Release Form
Fourth grade students and older are eligible to be walkers; students younger than 4th grade must be accompanied by an older sibling.
At the end of the day, students must come to the front office and obtain a “walker” sticker from Mrs. Penn. They will exit from the front door, go across the cross walk and up the sidewalk to the stop sign on Green Road. If a student does NOT have a walker sticker, they will not be released from campus.
